Who are we?
Armoire was born out of MIT’s prestigious accelerator program in 2016. Our team of 50+ is a close-knit group of marketers, engineers, designers, finance whizzes, member experience specialists, merchandisers, stylists, operators, and more. Our team continues to expand and evolve as our business grows at an exponential pace! We strive to stay lean and mean, and to always have fun along the way.
Our marketing team is responsible for introducing prospective members to Armoire - a brand and service created to make the modern woman’s life a little bit easier and more joyful - as well as communicate with existing members to help them make the most out of their membership. Through a diversified channel strategy, this team is challenged with finding the right customers and selling Armoire’s membership to fuel growth, and then converting these new customers into long-term, loyal Armoire members.
What’s the role?
We’re looking for a creative, data-driven growth expert with a passion for scaling businesses by identifying cost-effective and scalable growth channels. This person will be responsible for Armoire’s acquisition efforts - owning new member growth and customer acquisition cost, as well as ensuring high quality of new members. The role will report to the Chief Commercial & Financial Officer and will work closely with Armoire’s marketing, merchandising and product teams to develop and execute a growth plan that meets subscriber growth goals and considers the lifetime value of customers.
Who are you?
- 5+ years experience leading customer acquisition efforts for high-growth, DTC businesses, preferably in the fashion, subscription and/or lifestyle space
- Proven ability to scale businesses through cost-effective channels that result in sustained business value (You will be asked to share specific examples of how you have done this during the interview process.)
- Experience managing a marketing budget in the range of $5-10M+ annually across multiple channels
- Experience managing and growing a team of motivated marketing professionals and collaborate effectively with cross-functional leaders and teams
- Highly analytical and comfortable with data collection, analysis, and presentation through a creative and bold tone of voice
- Strong attention to detail, with an appetite to dive into the weeds, seeking connections and key moments in all touchpoints of the customer journey
- Experience developing, testing, and scaling campaigns across digital and non-digital, paid and organic channels
- Creative and passionate about fashion, technology, and/or subscription businesses
- Clear communicator, strong leader, and strategic thinker
Responsibilities
- Build a scalable growth engine that fuels awareness for top of funnel growth and drives conversion through the funnel to create high value, loyal members of Armoire
- Set strategic and operational plans for predictable growth across paid and organic channels that meets or exceeds Armoire’s ambitious business goals, setting objectives, key results, resources, budgets, forecasts, and prioritization of initiatives
- Meet or exceed customer acquisition cost targets to deliver a target LTV:CAC that enables sustainable growth
- Manage acquisition team, including acquisition manager, social media manager and future hires
- Orchestrate cross-channel marketing campaigns that communicate Armoire’s value proposition, attract new customers, and build brand loyalty
- Coordinate with merchandising, product, finance, and member experience teams to plan & execute acquisition campaigns effectively and create a seamless new member experience
- Accountable for hitting acquisition goals across all paid and organic channels to align with business targets, and managing team to deliver these goals
- Ensure acquisition strategy and messaging is consistent with Armoire brand guidelines and company vision
