Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Staff Engineer to lead and elevate our engineering efforts. In this role, you will not only drive technical execution but will also serve as a critical voice in shaping our product strategy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical expertise, leadership maturity, and the ability to operate independently, identifying needs across Engineering, Product, Research, and Design without requiring direction from senior management. You must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and contributing directly to our technical stack while inspiring the broader team through action.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical leader and strategic partner, proactively identifying and prioritizing initiatives across Engineering, Product, Research, and Design.
• Lead technical planning, architectural decisions, and hands-on development for critical projects.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, researchers, designers, and executives to ensure alignment and success.
• Identify process improvements, tooling needs, and architectural adjustments to support the scalability and quality of our products.
• Maintain a hands-on approach, contributing to coding, code reviews, and architectural designs as necessary.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and innovation within the engineering team.
• Mentor, guide, and support engineers to develop technical and leadership skills.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1+ years in a technical leadership capacity.
• Proven ability to independently drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver technical excellence.
• Deep expertise in modern software development practices, architecture, and system design.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Data Pipeline, Machine Learning Workflows, and API development.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with scaling early-stage products into enterprise-ready platforms.
• Background in applied AI, SaaS, or enterprise solutions
