About Klarity

Klarity (YC S18) is the Enterprise Instinct platform. TL;DR: Series B, $91M raised, 7x growth last year.

Enterprises still rely on consultants to figure out how they operate – months of work, millions spent, and outdated before the ink dries. We built a better way.

Our AI discovers how work actually happens across every team and application, Structures it into a living Context Graph, and Improves it continuously.

ServiceNow mapped 900+ processes in 9 days. DoorDash captured 3,800+ finance operations in 14 weeks, replacing a 2-year engagement. That's not a project. That's compounding intelligence.

OpenAI, Google, DoorDash, and Stripe use Klarity to transform how they transform. We shipped GPT-4 document chat within 12 hours of OpenAI's API launch.

Speed and quality aren't a tradeoff here – they're the standard.

The Role

We are looking for an AI Product Engineer who sits at the intersection of product thinking and technical execution. You are a product thinker first, with a strong engineering background that allows you to ship your own ideas. You will be responsible for defining what we build and building it—owning features from customer insight to production deployment.

Who You Are

  • Product thinker with engineering depth - You have strong product instincts grounded in user research and customer conversations. Your technical depth (CS fundamentals, React, TypeScript, Python) lets you prototype ideas, evaluate tradeoffs, and ship MVPs independently. You build to learn fast, not to architect perfect systems.

  • Energized by customer discovery - You genuinely love talking to customers and uncovering their problems. You're comfortable running user interviews, asking tough questions, and building product conviction through real conversations.

  • Strong UX sensibility and visual taste - You're not a trained designer, but you know what good UX looks like. You make informed decisions about user flows, information architecture, and interactions independently. You care about spacing, hierarchy, and details.

  • Shipped AI-native features to production - You've shipped AI-native features and understand the product tradeoffs: how to scope around non-determinism, when AI adds genuine value versus complexity, and how to set user expectations for probabilistic systems. You make informed product decisions about where to apply cutting-edge AI.

  • AI-native builder who moves fast - You use AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, and Replit to prototype rapidly and test product directions with real code. AI lets you validate 10 ideas in the time it used to take to build one.

  • Own outcomes, not just features - You define success metrics, talk to users, analyze data, and iterate based on learnings. You pivot quickly when something isn't working and double down when you find traction.

  • Bring energy that elevates others - You see hard product problems as puzzles to solve through customer insight and rapid experimentation. Your enthusiasm for building products people love raises the bar for the entire team.

What You'll Do

  • Own product features end-to-end - Talk to customers to understand their problems, define what to build (including UX and interaction patterns), scope the MVP, ship it to production, measure results, and iterate. You're responsible for both the "what" and the "how it feels." You make product and UX decisions with full technical context.

  • Build and ship rapidly - Write code across the full stack to bring product ideas to life. Use AI tools to accelerate development and explore multiple solutions. Ship MVPs to learn fast, then iterate based on real user feedback and data.

  • Bridge AI capabilities with user needs - Partner with engineers and AI researchers to understand what's possible, then translate that into product experiences that solve real customer problems. You identify where cutting-edge AI can create step-change value versus where simpler solutions win.

  • Define product strategy through experimentation - Use rapid prototyping and user testing to inform product direction. You build conviction through shipping and learning, not endless planning. Your technical skills let you validate ideas in production, not just slides.
