Service and Sales Representative

Job Title: Service and Sales Representative

Division/Department: Operations

Reports to: Senior Field Service Representative

SUMMARY

Field Service - position is responsible for equipment installation, troubleshooting, site inventory management and overall responsibility of assigned sites.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Field Service:

  • Complete field installations to ensure “zero” failures.
  • Works with Loci’s technical personnel to develop, implement and maintain site installation/operational procedures.
  • Serves as the primary interface with customer’s field operators.
  • Take ownership of any/all sites assigned by the Manager. This includes inventory management, customer service, complete oversight of each location.
  • Oversee calibration and cylinder replacement of installed units in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Adopt a culture of Safety First, Continuous Improvement, customer service.
  • Monitor quality, cost and customer satisfaction with every installation.

Safety:

  • Responsible for following the HSE Program at Loci Controls.
  • Participate in all site required safety trainings.
  • Ensure adherence to all company and site-specific safety rules including proper PPE and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Perform Job Safety Analysis before installing Loci products.

Quality:

  • Follow written procedures, work instructions, and On the Job training
  • Strive for problem free installs.
  • Be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally in order to maintain Continuous Improvement.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in landfill environment and/or field operations.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in all MS Office products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to work independently and self-manage.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work outside in all different weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heat. He/she may at times be exposed to dangerous and/or toxic substances and must take necessary precautions to protect eyes, nose and skin from irritation and infection.

Work requires domestic and local travel. Will require overnights. Work may require evening and weekend work.
