Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
Department: Operations
Location: Wareham, MA
Reports To: Purchasing and Inventory Manager
Job Summary
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the timely flow of materials within a manufacturing facility. This role supports production and purchasing by monitoring stock levels, coordinating inventory transactions, and ensuring materials are available to meet operational demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, components, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to support uninterrupted production
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory audits
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and system variances
- Process inventory transactions in the ERP system, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and shipments
- Coordinate material movement between warehouse, staging, and production areas
- Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Shipping, and Quality teams to ensure material availability and compliance
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory
- Assist in developing and improving inventory control procedures and best practices
- Act as backup for Shipping/Receiving Associate
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with inventory systems and ERP software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing logistics
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Kanban, or just-in-time inventory practices

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+lbs as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, and work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Use of forklifts or pallet jacks
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
