Grants Manager
NeuroBionics
About NeuroBionics
NeuroBionics, an MIT neurotechnology spinout, is developing novel implantable devices that interface seamlessly with the human body to treat neurological conditions. Leveraging over a decade of innovation, we have engineered a novel neural interface using microscale, flexible, bioelectronic fibers that can be delivered into the body through minimally invasive endovascular approaches. Each fiber encompasses a spectrum of functionalities, including electrical, chemical, and optical capabilities, enabling the sensing and modulation of the biological environment. By making neural interfacing a minimally invasive procedure, we aim to revolutionize deep brain stimulation and broaden access to this life-changing therapy to millions of patients.
What we are looking for
We’re seeking an individual (not a grant-writing firm) who can work with us part-time as a Grant Writer / Grants Manager, helping identify and craft competitive proposals for NIH, DoD, and foundation opportunities. We're seeking passionate individuals with experience across relevant disciplines to help us advance our minimally-invasive neural interface. The ideal candidate has:
A strong technical background in neurotechnology, neuromodulation, or neuroscience — you understand experimental design and can translate it into compelling science.
A proven track record of successful grant submissions (NIH SBIR or equivalent).
The ability to help us not just write, but strategize — identifying new funding mechanisms, planning timelines, and quarterbacking applications from concept to submission.
