Join us on an exciting journey as a Software Engineering Intern at Pelicargo, where we're revolutionizing international air freight logistics with cutting-edge technology! In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to contribute to developing and refining our platform, tackling both bugs and new features as requested by our internal teams, airline partners, and customers. As part of a small, dynamic team, you'll need to be self-sufficient, resourceful, and autonomous, eagerly diving into challenges with curiosity and excitement. Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with a small, close-knit team to develop and improve our air freight logistics platform.

- Address bugs and implement new features based on feedback from internal teams, airline partners, and customers.

- Exhibit resourcefulness in problem-solving and overcoming challenges with limited resources.

- Be comfortable with taking self-initiative in a small team and talking to busy non-developer/non-engineer stakeholders.

- Demonstrate curiosity and enthusiasm for logistics, supply chain, and air freight.

- Work with technologies used in our stack, including Linux, Docker, TypeScript, Node/React.js, etc

Requirements:

Open to all education levels.

Broad programming language experience, including functional programming and object-oriented programming. Our stack is TypeScript/Node based but experience in other comparable languages such as Scala, Python, Rust, Ruby, etc is valued.

(Preferred) Experience with our stack, including Linux, Docker, TypeScript, Node/React.js, etc though not strictly required.

Interest in logistics, supply chain, and air freight.

Ability to work effectively in a small team with minimal guidance.

Strong curiosity, critical thinking, drive to learn, and work ethic.

Willingness to work closely with non-technical domain experts.

Ability to create and think about long-lasting solutions.

Written, verbal, and team communication skills.

Remote candidates encouraged.
