Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Full Stack Engineer at qBraid, based in Chicago, IL, with flexibility for remote work. In this role, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, building integrations with REST APIs and databases, and configuring CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment. You’ll play a key role not only in delivering new features and functionality but also in influencing upcoming features, scoping technical requirements, and collaborating closely with other engineers—first as a team member and, eventually, as a project lead.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, or in a related technical role.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Python; familiarity with TypeScript is a plus.
• Strong experience with front-end and back-end development using JavaScript frameworks, including React, Redux, Angular, Axios, and Node.js.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD workflows, and automation using Git and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with containerization using Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Previous experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with the Jupyter ecosystem, having developed Jupyter extensions is a plus.
• Confidence in shipping end-to-end products
• Adaptable and comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced environments, with evolving market conditions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with quantum computing (nice to have, but not required)
