Position Overview

As an AI Engineer at Seak, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our core AI models for optimizing brand performance, such as product listings and competitive pricing at scale, contributing directly to the success of our mission.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced AI models to optimize product listings for Southeast Asian artisans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement AI solutions that enhance our B2B SaaS platform
• Continuously improve and fine-tune our existing AI models and pipelines to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
• Stay ahead of the latest advancements in AI, NLP, and ML to bring cutting-edge solutions to our local artisans

Required Skills

Classical NLP and ML

• Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Classical Machine Learning
• Experience with LightGBM for gradient boosting tasks
• Knowledge of database design principles and proficiency in SQL

LLM

• Familiarity with Word Embeddings and Language Models, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformers)
• Proven ability to work on end-to-end AI model development, from data preprocessing to model deployment

General

• Proficiency in Python programming
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex AI challenges.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
• Hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
• We value deeper understanding (not just the application) of ML models!
• Demonstrated success in optimizing and fine-tuning models for real-world applications
• Strong understanding of data analysis, cleaning, and preprocessing techniques, and feature engineering
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
