Technical Solutions Engineer
Sigma360
Sigma360 is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between our clients and our product and engineering teams. This is a deeply technical, client-facing role: you will work directly with enterprise clients to understand their integration requirements, design solution architectures against our platform APIs, and guide them through complex implementations involving critical payment flows.
The ideal candidate combines strong systems thinking with clear, confident communication. You should be able to walk into a room with a client's engineering team, decompose their requirements, whiteboard an integration architecture, and then translate what you've learned into actionable guidance for our product and engineering organizations. You will work across engineering, product, customer success, and sales to ensure our clients extract maximum value from the Sigma360 platform.
Key Responsibilities
Own the technical relationship with enterprise clients end-to-end: gather requirements, design integration architectures against our APIs, and guide implementations through to production go-live across high-touch engagements involving anti-money laundering systems, payment systems, and various financial integrations.
Translate client needs and integration friction into actionable input for the product and engineering roadmap.
Write SQL and scripts to investigate data issues, support client engagements, and automate recurring work.
Maintain client-facing technical documentation including API references, integration guides, and architecture templates.
Qualifications
- Systems design expertise. You could ace a systems design interview. You can architect an integration on a whiteboard and defend your decisions. You think in data flows, failure modes, resiliency, idempotency, and API contracts.
- Strong scripting ability. Proficient in at least one scripting language. You must be able to prototype integrations and write sample code for other engineers. You must be able to automate some tasks to clean data or help troubleshoot.
- SQL Proficiency. You must analyze client data and find patterns, help debug their integrations from logs, and occasionally migrate their data into new structures. You must have great SQL experience. Excel / Sheets experience is also key.
- REST API fluency. Deep experience designing integrations against RESTful APIs and explaining their contracts to client engineering teams.
- Client-facing presence. You lead technical conversations with enterprise engineers — managing ambiguity, explaining trade-offs, and building trust over long engagement cycles.
Experience
Required
- 5+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, technical solutions, implementation engineering, or similar role combining hands-on technical work with direct client engagement
- Expert-level SQL skills with experience working against relational databases in production environments
- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language
- Proven experience designing integration architectures and working with RESTful APIs
- Track record of managing technical relationships with enterprise clients through complex, long-cycle engagements
- Demonstrated systems design ability — you can architect a solution on a whiteboard and defend your decisions
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS or other major cloud platforms
- Experience with Go
- Exposure to financial services, payments infrastructure, financial crime compliance, or regulatory technology
Location
This is a remote role in the United States, with a preference for east-coast timezones.

- Opportunity to grow with a fast-scaling, product-led company
- Collaborative, low-ego culture focused on solving hard problems
