About the Role
We're seeking a Recruiting Manager to lead full cycle recruiting functions and build the foundations for a scalable talent acquisition strategy. You will recruit for engineering, sales, marketing, and other critical roles as we scale. As the first recruiting hire, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we attract talent and grow.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Founders: Collaborate closely with founders to define role scopes, build scorecards, and align on hiring priorities and timelines.
- Hire Across Functions: Lead and manage sourcing and recruiting efforts for both technical and business roles, focusing on identifying and engaging top-tier talent aligned with Stack AI’s mission.
- Run Structured Interviews: Design and manage efficient, role-specific interview processes that incorporate technical screens, case studies, and culture assessments.
- Manage Recruiting Tools & Data: Build, support, and refine recruiting processes and tools, developing and maintaining best practices. Report on key recruiting metrics and provide data-driven and actionable insights
About You
- Experience: 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within high-growth startups.
- Builder Mindset: Excited to building recruiting playbooks, tools, and processes from scratch and iterate rapidly
- Cross-Functional Fluency: Comfortable with recruiting for deeply technical roles (e.g. AI/ML engineers) as well as go-to-market teams (e.g. sales, marketing).
- Communication Skills: Connect with candidates and internal stakeholders to set the standard for an exceptional candidate experience
- Organized and Detail-Oriented: Capable of juggling multiple roles and timelines while maintaining a smooth and consistent candidate experience.
